progress, we ask tutors to submit a writing
sample from their student once a quarter. Here
are some true examples. Please remember that a
majority of the writers are NOT native speakers
of English.

family. I've to tell you that, we had been very
happy for the last five months; the reason is
that my wife got pregnant five months ago. Since
she became pregnant every body has been guessing
if there is going to be a boy or a girl. My two
sons want a boy to play with but my wife and I

| Today I write when in
September 19 of 1985 in my country was destroy
per the tremor. I remember this day because in
that time my family haven't per eat because loss
lot of your little store. I remember too, what
this day was for me a day very ugly, because I
looked many people dead and I have many scared,
for me and my father and my brother because we
looked all the tremor in the Mexico City.
