Scrabble Bee

Thursday, February 23, 2012
Swan Club at Legends Brewhouse,
825 Heritage Rd., De Pere

Who benefits from the Scrabble Bee?

Thanks to last year's event sponsors and attendees, nearly $30,000 was raised. Over 600 students in Green Bay are currently receiving our literacy services, giving them the opportunity to function effectively as workers and community members.

What happens at the Scrabble Bee?

We’ll begin the event with a dinner served family style and then begin the game of Scrabble, only with a twist.  That twist is a team “competition” for groups of six to eight people working with a Scrabble board and a bag of 100 tiles. There are two rounds of Scrabble.  In each round, teams take all the tiles and create their board based on a unique theme. This casual event also features a silent auction, raffle, cash bar, and prizes.
