WHAT IS THE COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS 1 COURSE?

 

This course, formerly known as GED-Prep 1, is a partnership between Literacy Green Bay and NWTC, and is designed to help learners fully develop the academic and digital literacy skills they will need to transition into GED Prep-2 and Prep-3 coursework. Course is offered at Literacy Green Bay and students will attend an Orientation session prior to enrollment.  Both individual, small and large-group instruction is provided.  Trained tutors and onsite childcare are also available!

 

ORIENTATION DATES: FALL 2020 

Mondays, 9-11 A.M. or 5:15-7:15 P.M.

A mask is required to be worn at orientation!

If able, bring your phone, tablet, or laptop to orientation as well.

Fall 2020 Session (Virtual):

CLASSES MEET VIRTUALLY:
MONDAYS 9 A.M. TO NOON

OR
TUESDAYS 5:15 TO 8:15 P.M.

OR

WEDNESDAYS 5:15 TO 8:15 P.M.

What each class includes:

Smaller class sizes

Individualized instruction and attention

Option of additional tutoring support outside of class

Digital literacy instruction
