


WHAT IS THE COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS 1 COURSE?
This course, formerly known as GED-Prep 1, is a partnership between Literacy Green Bay and NWTC, and is designed to help learners fully develop the academic and digital literacy skills they will need to transition into GED Prep-2 and Prep-3 coursework. Course is offered at the Literacy Green Bay Campus and students will attend an Orientation session prior to enrollment. Individual, small and large- group instruction is provided. Trained tutors and onsite childcare also available!

Orientation
Students will attend an orientation prior to enrollment into CCR1.
Orientation sessions will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays at either 9:00 am or 5:00 PM at Literacy Green Bay.
Students referred for CCR1 will be given the option to attend orientation on either Monday or Wednesday mornings or evenings. Once formally referred by NWTC's ABE Navigator, the orientation coordinator at Literacy Green Bay will follow up with students to schedule a date and time for orientation that works best for them.
