donate today to literacy green bay!
As a not-for profit organization helping hundreds of families and individuals to improve their lives through literacy in English, math, computer, and workforce skills, we depend on the generosity of the citizens and businesses of our community. Please consider a tax deductible donation.
Help ensure educational services are available so our limited English and low literacy neighbors can increase their education both now and into the future.
Tributes and Memorials
Honor a loved one, give recognition to someone special or celebrate a particular occasion with a tribute or memorial donation.
Brogan Endowment Fund
Grow our Endowment Fund at the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation (Literacy Green Bay Thomas Brogan Endowment Fund.) The interest is reinvested in the fund and reviewed periodically by our Board of Directors. Endowment funds provide long-term, stable funding to guarantee that Literacy Green Bay will continue to fulfill its mission for future generations.
In Kind donation
You can view a wish list of items we are currently in need of here. You can also support us by shopping on Amazon through AmazonSmile with Literacy Green Bay as your designated non-profit and we will receive a percentage of proceeds from your purchases at no additional cost cost to you!
Provide multiyear operating support for one of our programs and know that your company will be making an impact in the lives of some of the neediest families in Brown County by providing adult tutoring, classroom instruction and family literacy programming to adults with low skills, limited English proficiency or lacking a high school diploma. Multiyear pledges allow Literacy Green Bay to plan for the continuity, growth and sustainability of these programs.
Make a planned gift to Literacy Green Bay to maximize the benefits of your charitable gift while providing sustainability to our organization. Bequests, life insurance and securities are some ways to entrust your legacy with Literacy Green Bay.
A matching gift is a donation made to a non-profit which is tied to a separate contribution by another donor. Since the prospect of a matching gift encourages donations, many companies offer matching gift programs to motivate employee contributions to non-profits. We encourage you to check with your employer about matching gifts. Many employers will match employee gifts of time and/or donations, even if you are retired.
