The ELEvate Family Literacy Program is a community collaboration between Literacy Green Bay, Green Bay Area Public Schools and NWTC. Programming is designed specifically for English-language learning parents and their children too young for school. Family literacy programs help prepare young children for entering school, engage parents in their children’s education and learning, and ultimately assist families in reaching self-sufficiency by educating the entire family. We believe that by conducting programming within their home schools, parents will become more comfortable and confident to engage in their children’s school community, remain active in their education, and that both parents and children will become lifelong learners!
