English Language Learner Classes (ELL)

We offer three levels of English classes for beginning to intermediate English learners. These classes are held twice a week, both mornings and evenings, at Literacy Green Bay. Childcare is available for some classes.

Registration is required for the classes. There is a one-time $25 registration fee due at orientation. At registration, learners will take a speaking and writing test to place them in the English class that is best for them.

Our services are available to adult residents of Brown County, WI and surrounding areas.  Students must be able to attend Registration/Intake Workshops, classes and periodic testing sessions in person.

Support for this program is provided by:

  • Georgia-Pacific Foundation

  • Adult Education and Family Literacy funding from Wisconsin Technical College System

  • Brown County United Way

  • Greater Green Bay Community Foundation and its donors

  • Catholic Relief Services Operation Rice Bowl

  • Resurrection Parish

  • Schneider Foundation
