Volunteer as an Adult Tutor

If you are looking to make a difference and help someone in our community, becoming a volunteer tutor is the right path.

Volunteer tutors attend a Tutor Training Workshop to learn how to work one-on-0ne with adult learners who are seeking help to improve their basic reading, writing, and math skills, and/or to learn the English language.

The first step to training is an informational orientation.  At the orientation, you'll learn more about Literacy Green Bay and our Adult Tutoring Program. The workshop consists of four three-hour sessions designed to thoroughly prepare you to work with a learner.
